i LOVE my job

oh. sooooo. no big deal or anything but... last night at work things got a little crazy. all of a sudden a huge limo pulls up outside of sammy's and a bunch of people file in. i didn't recognize any of them at first but they just had that "famous" feel. so i went to grab a sheet to take their order and my boss whispers to me "ever seen the movie fame? well..that's the main character and his boy band" haaaaha. WHAT?!

yeah yeah i know FAME isn't that huge of a movie and it only got 2 stars...but still. he was famous. asher friggin BOOK.

[look him up. he's hawwwwt]

so. i didn't want to seem like i was TOO much of an idiot. i just stood there, took their orders, made their shakes, tried not to stare... but right as they were about to leave my boss said "alright guys, my employee has to stop taking order for a second so she can get a picture with these guys!" um YES please!

so that's when this happened. HA! asher is the one next to me. yep.

ANYWAY. i didn't think too much of it after that...finished up my shift and went home happy.

WELL. the next morning [aka...tuhhhday] i get a text from my boss "hey asher came into sammy's again today asking about you. he wants to know if you want to go to his concert and hang out back stage with the guys...you and a friend"

...

what?

haaaaha! i couldn't even believe it. the girl serving milkshakes at sammy's gets to go hang out backstage with V Factory- his band. i'm completely stoked. so me and maa cousin ciara are going to be there tonight. hopefully i'll have pictures to post tomorrow.

YES! i LOVE my job.

easter weekend should be blogged about right? i still don't know exactly what i'm doing here. BUT. i'll just g'head and do it. so. my easter weekend was...great. just great! even though my parents WERE scuba diving in florida and my brother DID survive a 7.2 earthquake in mexico...i had a great time safe and sound in dear old farmington. since i was lacking a family, my second family, the tibbitts' [let's hope i used that apostrophe right], took me in.

her the easter baskets and hide eggs. we went to sleep and when i woke up there was a HUGE basket (braden's old one) waiting for me on the couch. they are the cutest family. i absolutely love being with them.

ohhh DON'T worry. there i am wearing braden's clothes. taking over braden's easter basket. in my new sandals that say GUADALAJARA across them. and holding the mexican flag trumpet that i got. oh heyyy braden in the background. haha. hil.arious.

oh. can't forget about steve. i stole his dog too i guess. :/ sorry braden. you had to be replaced!

soooo. HI.

blogging: something i've wanted to try for a long time but always thought it was just for "married people". it's probably true...but i'm going to go for it anyway. my life right now= completely average. let's hope something exciting happens in the near future so i can have something to "blog about". am i using the right terminology? who the crap knows?

all i know is that tomorrow is easter and my family is in florida without me...not.even.fair. but thankfully the tibbitts' (baaasically my second family) are in town and letting me stay over. really. who goes to florida without their KIDS?! and what kind of a brother goes to mexico without his sister? nope. that should never happen.

at least i'm employed finally.

i have been looking for about 8 months for a job and i finally found the perfect one. YES. polaroid pictures cover the walls and good music plays allll night long. i am in love.

so yes, my life is average- it's not amazing, but it sure doesn't suck.
